The Following Is The Positive Contribution Of A Number Of Exhibitions Initiated By Gaikindo Throughout 2024
JAKARTA - This year's Association of Indonesian Motor Vehicle Industries (GAIKINDO) has successfully held a series of automotive exhibitions throughout 2024 in various strategic cities.
Throughout this year, Gaikindo managed to hold a total of six exhibitions starting from the Gaikindo Indonesia International Commercial Vehicle Expo (GIICOMVEC) which will be held on March 7-10, 2024 at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC).
In addition, there is the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) which will be held on 18-28 July 2024 at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE) BSD City, Tangerang, which is a place for many Chinese brands to enter Indonesia. Then, there is GIIAS Surabaya which will be held on 28 August 1 September 2024 at the Grand City Convex Surabaya, GIIAS Bandung which will be held on 25-29 September 2024 at the Sudirman Grand Ballroom Bandung, GIIAS Semarang which will be held on 23-27 October 2024 at the Muladi Dome Semarang.
Finally, which was held at the end of last November, Mandiri Utama Finance Gaikindo Jakarta Auto Week (MUF GJAW) which was held on November 22 December 1 at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE) BSD City, Tangerang Regency.
All exhibitions that take place are claimed to have extraordinary results, and make a significant contribution to the achievements of the Indonesian automotive industry.
General Chairperson of Gaikindo Yohanes Nangoi, expressed his gratitude and gave appreciation to all parties for fully supporting the series of exhibitions.
"For Gaikindo in 2024, it is a record of the challenges and success of the Indonesian automotive industry, and a series of automotive exhibitions are efforts to show the development and achievements of the Indonesian automotive industry, and also a boost to its growth, we are very grateful in the midst of the challenges facing the motor vehicle industry this year, the entire series of automotive exhibitions can take place successfully, recording very positive results and contributing to the achievements of the country's industry," said Nangoi, in his official statement, Tuesday, December 17.

On the same occasion, the Head of the Gaikindo Exhibition, Rizwan Alamsjah, said that this year the entire series managed to record more than 700,000 visitors.
"This shows the great public interest in the development of the Indonesian automotive industry. In addition, the achievements recorded during the Gaikindo exhibition series in 2024 managed to exceed 50 thousand units of vehicles worth 26 trillion rupiah, a very encouraging achievement and reflecting the great potential of the Indonesian automotive sector," said Rizwan.
The success of the 2024 Gaikindo exhibition is proof of the significant contribution of the Indonesian automotive industry as one of the important pillars in the country, which is a matter of pride for Indonesia, and Gaikindo with all its members are committed to working hard with the government, especially the Indonesian Ministry of Industry, to maintain the growth of the Indonesian automotive industry so that it can continue to contribute to the country's achievements.
