Chelsea Vs PSM Makassar In Menpora Cup Semi-Final Is A Mental Battle
JAKARTA - Persija Jakarta coach Sudirman assessed that the mentality is more influential and decisive than other factors in the semifinal match of the Menpora Cup against PSM Makassar at Maguwoharjo Stadium, Sleman, Yogyakarta, thursday.
"I think the match with PSM is a match how mentally more influential in winning the game because the players have both met in the first game," sudirman said, in a virtual press conference ahead of the semifinals of the Menpora Cup on Wednesday, reported Antara.
As is known, Persija had met PSM and rolled 2-0 in the inaugural match of the Group B preliminary round of the Menpora Cup, Monday, March 23.
Therefore, Sudirman emphasized that in the semi-finals, it is really necessary for the champion mentally to win the match.
"PSM is a good team, a compact team, an even team in all positions. One advantage of them is fanaticism in playing, they have loyalty in playing, always try to press the opponent tightly," he said.

Four teams have qualified for the semi-finals of the Menpora Cup, namely PSM Makassar, Persija Jakarta, Persib Bandung, and PSS Sleman.
Furthermore, the four teams will undergo a semifinal match scheduled to take place from 15-19 April in two legs, namely at Maguwoharjo Sleman Stadium and Manahan Solo Stadium.

The first leg, Persija will meet with PSM Makassar on Thursday, April 15, 2021, while Persib will compete against PSS Sleman on Friday, April 16, 2021.
Both matches will be held at the home of PSS Sleman, namely Maguwoharjo Stadium, Sleman, Yogyakarta.
The second leg, PSM Makassar against Persija on Sunday, April 18, 2021, while PSS again met Persib on Monday, April 19 at Manahan Stadium Solo.
