President Jokowi issued a new policy on Eid al-Fitr 2021. On April 9, 2021, Jokowi Presidential Decree No. 7 of 2021 concerning the determination of leave with Civil State Apparatus (ASN) employees.
This year Civil State Apparatus received 2 times leave. The first holiday on May 12, 2021 (Wednesday), which is a holiday with Eid al-Fitr 1442 Hijri. The second holiday is on Christmas day on December 24, 2021.

In Eid al-Fitr this year, the government cut the holiday together to commemorate Eid al-Fitr, which is on May 7, 18, 19.
The determination is contained in the Joint Decree (SKB) of the Minister of Religious Affairs (Menag), Minister of Administrative And Bureaucratic Reform (Minister of PANRB), Minister of Manpower (Menaker) has agreed on the rules of joint leave 2021.
In the Coordination Meeting at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs office in February ago, Muhadjir Effendy delivered a joint leave that had previously been cut to only 2 days. The decision was taken after a review of the SKB.
In addition to the Eid al-Fitr holiday, the government also cut other shared leave, among others;
12 March: Shared Leave commemorating Isra Mi'raj prophet Muhammad. December 27: Shared Leave commemorates Christmas Day 2021.
