BYD Expands International Presence, Now Sapar Oman Automotive Market

JAKARTA - BYD is expanding its international market by officially entering Oman, marking the company's important move to be present at the central eastern automotive market.

Quoting from the CNevpost page, Monday, December 16, the official launch marking the entry of Chinese brands into the Oman market took place in the capital Oman, Muscat.

In total there are five models brought by the brand that have also enlivened the Indonesian automotive market, the models brought are BYD Han, Yuan Plus, Sedan Seal, Song Plus DM-i and finally there is Qin Plus DM-i.

"ByD's commitment to promoting environmentally friendly mobility is in line with Oman's Vision for sustainable development by 2040," said General Manager of Middle East and African BYD AD Huang.

In addition to officially entering the Oman automotive market, BYD also inaugurated three networks of dealers in the country. Three dealers are located in Wattayah, Al Mouj, and Mall of Oman which became the first BYD dealers to be established in a shopping center.

After three dealers, BYD is also committed to continuing to work with local partners to continue to expand its sales and service network at Oman, with the aim of facilitating consumers in care and buying and selling services.

BYD also plans to add its car lineup to the Oman automotive market, and will launch Sealion 07 to add to its portfolio, but it has not been mentioned when the model will launch.
