After Indonesia, Honda Jazz No Longer Paves In The Philippines

JAKARTA – After being stopped from Indonesia, Honda Jazz officially resigned from the Philippines. Similar to in Ri, Honda Jazz sold in the country is also only the rest of the stock.

This information was confirmed by Masahiko Nakamura as President of Honda Cars Philipine Inc. (HCPI). According to him, Honda Jazz in the Philippines already has a big name. Because it has been on the streets of the Philippines for more than 13 years.

The decision to stop the Honda Jazz was carefully considered. He also added that these actions are part of meeting consumer demand.

"As we must continue to emphasize the fulfillment of market demand, we have thoroughly studied the needs of models in our current set of models," Nakamura said.

He added that the company will focus on developing the latest car model that will replace the Honda Jazz.

"After careful consideration, we would like to formally announce the discontinuation of Jazz and all of its variants so that we can shift our focus and resources to the current and future models," he added.

The Honda City Hatchback, which launched last year, indicated that it would shift the Honda Jazz's position from the market. Before its launch, Honda had exhibited its newest car at the 2019 Tokyo Motor Show.

Meanwhile, in Indonesia, the name Honda Jazz has been removed from the official website of Honda's official car sales agent, Honda Prospect Motor (HPM). Nevertheless, Jazz still remains about 150 units and still on sale in the market.
