The Difficulty Of Recruiting Haaland: In Addition To Transfer Fees And High Salaries, Commissions For Agents Reach Rp700 Billion
JAKARTA - Erling Haaland is in demand by major European clubs. But, to recruit him is not cheap at all.
In addition to the club's fans having to pay a transfer fee to Borussia Dortmund, there will be a large amount of commission that the agent also requested.
According to RAC1, Agent Mino Raiola and Haaland's father Alf-Inge requested a commission of 40 million euros (Rp700 billion) to Barcelona at a meeting last week.
Raiola and Alf-Inge reportedly want 20 million euros (Rp350 billion) each.
That would be a small addition to Haaland's transfer fee and salary of 30 million euros (Rp525.5 billion). It is understood the Norwegian will be available in the transfer market with a release clause of 68 million pounds (Rp1.358 trillion) by 2022.
It was also reported that Haaland wanted Lionel Messi to remain at Barcelona in order for him to sign a contract when he moved to the Camp Nou.
Barca president Joan Laporta said Haaland was his top priority. However, so far there have been no significant developments related to its inaction.
