PPU 2025 APBD Allocated For Road Development And Irrigation

JAKARTA - The 2024 Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBD) of North Penajam Paser Regency, East Kalimantan Province, accommodates the construction of roads and irrigation in an area that is familiarly called Benuo Taka.

"Regency government planning in 2025 will build a lot of road and irrigation infrastructure," said Assistant II of the Development and Economy Section of the Regional Secretariat of the North Penajam Paser Regency Government, Sodikin, as reported by ANTARA, Friday, December 13.

"But the budget allocation for road construction and irrigation is still under discussion, how much has not been determined," he added.

The road and irrigation development plan is allocated for the 2025 APBD, because the development program must be focused on improving the community's economy.

"The development must provide support for the community's economy," he said.

Every sub-district, if it already has adequate and equitable road access, the community can easily sell agricultural, fishery, plantation and livestock products.

The construction of road and irrigation infrastructure is carried out, especially in areas that have natural resources, he explained, but has not been supported by adequate basic infrastructure.

Basic infrastructure development is always the focus of the North Penajam Paser Regency Government every fiscal year.

The 2025 APBD of North Penajam Paser Regency is approximately Rp. 2.8 trillion, it is certain that priority is on the welfare of the community, said Sodikin, who is also the Acting Head of the North Penajam Paser Regency Public Works and Spatial Planning (PUPR).
