KPK Ensures Investigation Of Harun Masiku's Case According To Procedures
This was conveyed by KPK spokesman Tessa Mahardhika when asked about the statement by PDIP General Chair Megawati Soekarnoputri who was ready to come to the anti-corruption commission if PDIP Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto was named a suspect in the Harun Masiku case.
Hasto's name is often associated with Harun, who has been on the run since 2020.
"Investigators will carry out procedural activities in accordance with existing legal regulations. Anyone who is found in him is sufficient evidence that the investigation process will certainly be followed up by the KPK," Tessa told reporters, Friday, December 13.
Tessa said the anti-corruption commission could not make it up to process a case. Because, there is the KPK Supervisory Board who is now ready to look at the legal process running.
"All actions taken by the KPK, especially enforcement, will be carried out according to the rule of law," he said.
Megawati Soekarnoputri is ready to come to the KPK if Hasto is arrested. This attitude was taken because Megawati felt responsible for the fate of her subordinates.
