Note! These Are The Klaten'Prambanan Toll Operating Hours That Are Freely Opened During The Nataru Holiday
JAKARTA - PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk (JSMR) through its subsidiary PT Jasamarga Jogja Solo (JMJ) has prepared a functional route for the Solo "Yogyakarta" Toll Road YIA Kulon Progo (Jogja-Solo) for the 8.60 kilometer Klaten (km) Klaten (km) segment during the 2024 Christmas Holiday and 2025 New Year (Nataru 2024/2025) period.
President Director of PT JMJ Rudy Hardiansyah said the functional route for the Jogja Solo Toll Road, Klaten Segment, Prambanan, was part of the work phase 1 of the Jogja 'Solo Toll Road.
This aims to make it easier for people who travel from Solo to Yogyakarta or vice versa in the Nataru 2024/2025 period.
"We have opened a functional route for the Jogja 'Solo Segment Prambanan' Klaten from December 20, 2024 to January 2, 2025 with operating hours starting at 06.00-18.00 WIB. As for the maximum speed, road users who pass through this functional route are 40 km/hour," said Rudy in his written statement, Thursday, December 12.
It is known that the 22.3 km Jogja Solo Segment Kartasura Toll Road has now been operated and can be used by the wider community. Rudy said that road users will only be subject to to toll rates for the Klaten Kartasura Segment.
"Road users have not been charged a tariff if they pass through the Jogja's functional route of the Klaten Segment", he said.
To be able to pass this untarified functional path, road users still have to tap their electronic money cards at the Prambanan Toll Gate (GT) and other GTs.
PT JMJ also appealed to all road users to always prepare and bring electronic money cards with sufficient balance if they want to pass on the Jogja 'Solo Toll Road.
According to Rudy, with the operation of this functional route, the travel time from Solo 'Prambanan has become more efficient, from the previous 1.5 hours it will be cut to about 30 minutes.
To access this functional path, road users passing from the direction of Solo can enter the functional path through GT Klaten and exit at GT Prambanan, and vice versa. If from the direction of Jogja can enter the functional path through GT Prambanan and exit at GT Klaten.
Rudy explained that PT JMJ has ensured that this functional path is safe for the community to pass. Later, the total length of the Jogja 'Solo Toll Road that can be passed by road users is 30.87 km, namely the Kartasura 'Prambanan Segment.
In the Klaten Segment, the Prambanan will have stiff/rigid pavement violence on both routes. PT JMJ has also prepared road markings and lighting facilities during the Nataru holiday period.
During the Nataru holiday later, PT JMJ predicts that the volume of traffic that will pass through this functional route will reach 1,000 vehicles/hour.
"So, with a longer path, we hope to provide more optimal service to the community because this functional route can be an alternative route to avoid traffic congestion that often occurs at the Kartasura Delanggu Monument and Solo Highway "Yogyakarta," he said.
During the Nataru holiday, PT JMJ alerted officers at the SIAGA Police Post and Dishub 2024/2025 at the Prambanan Shelter exit and Pantau Post at KM 30+875 to oversee the operation of the functional lane of the Jogja 'Solo Toll Road Klaten' Prambanan.
In addition, PT JMJ also provides toilet services and mobile Public Fuel Filling Stations (SPBU) along the functional route for road users who want to take a break or want to go to the toilet.
In the event of an emergency, PT JMJ has provided supporting facilities and infrastructure, such as rest emergency areas at km 19, Mobile Customer Service (MCS), ambulances, rescue and crane services.
