Chronology Of Reza Artamevia Being Dragged Into A Case Of Alleged Diamond Fraud, Starting From Needing Large Funds
The famous singer Reza Artamevia is currently being reported in a case of alleged diamond fraud reported by a diamond businessman with the initials IM. Reza said that he was finally involved in this case because he needed large funds so he tried to borrow money from IM with diamond guarantees.
IM also agreed that Reza and his colleagues would hand over 2 items of diamonds weighing 20 cranes worth Rp 8 billion.
"Because we need funds to be based on guarantees, so on July 10, 2024 we are invited again and there is a lawyer, there is a private bank. On the evening of July 9, we brought the diamonds based on the price of an international Rapaport of Rp 23 billion. However, it was judged by his adopted son who held Lavin Newyork that gave a price of Rp 12 billion and we just received it," said Reza Artamevia, quoted by VOI from a media broadcast, Thursday, December 12.
"Then it was packaged in the form of a Sale and Purchase Deed, but conditionally and that night we also gave 2 pills, each 10 krat, they immediately checked with them and met on the 10th and it was submitted that AJB broke up, but from our objections because our diamond price was more expensive than the loan given. And we ask to include buyback because we have to hold it again," continued Reza.
After checking the diamond at a shop and the result was that the diamond was proven genuine, finally Reza's loan from IM was disbursed in the amount of Rp 8 billion.
"On July 12, 2024, we went to the shop together to check the authenticity of the diamonds, even though we ourselves had tools to check and then we looked for a diamond shop and finally we checked the Mondial diamond shop. Then after that the funds were disbursed that afternoon. And we handed over the 2 items to IM and her husband Datuk KM," said Reza.
"The loan is valid on July 12 for one month, we have a loan of Rp. 8 billion, returned Rp. 10 billion. And we agree," he continued.
Because the first loan was successful, Reza Artamevia and his partner applied for a loan back to IM and her husband in the amount of Rp. 3.5 billion with a guarantee of 1 diamond weighing 10 cranes. Both parties checked the authenticity of the diamond and it was appropriate until the disbursement of funds was successful.
"Then we submitted another loan on July 21, at that time we needed Rp 3.5 billion, they didn't have a problem as long as there was a guarantee and we gave one more diamond approved and we brought it back to the mondial to check and both saw if it was a genuine diamond and we handed it over to them," said Reza.
"During the transfer of Rp 3.5 billion, we gave them a profit of Rp 700 million, which we returned in mid-August 2024," continued Reza.
It did not stop there, Reza Artamevia and Ratna Dewi again made loans worth IDR 50 billion with a guarantee of 6 items of diamonds to IM and her husband.
Reza said that he had handed over 9 diamond items worth Rp 150 billion to IM. However, when the third loan was borrowed, IM only disbursed Rp 7 billion in funds with the promise to hand over the remaining loan.
"On August 8, 2024, we will meet again for even greater support and agree to be given Rp 50 billion as long as there is another guarantee and agree that we will hand over 6 diamonds and a total of 9 diamond items with an accumulation of a value of Rp 150 billion," said Reza.

"During the meeting, it was not yet due, he said the first and second loans were only entered into the third loan and we agreed. And check with the child, and at that time back the Rp 7 billion funds on August 13, 2024 from Rp 50 billion," he explained.
"So the first incoming funds were Rp. 10 billion, the second was Rp. 3.5 billion and the third was Rp. 7 billion, the remaining Rp. 28.7 billion. On August 20, we handed them 9 items of diamonds on August 22, we did the last addendum," said Reza.
However, for one week, the IM with various reasons did not hand over the remaining funds to Reza and his colleagues.
"From August 22 onwards, the funds have not been disbursed due to bank problems. On August 30, we flew to Malaysia to meet them to discuss the disbursement of the rest and the planning that we plan to mess up, right," said Reza.
