Aaron Taylor-Johnson Becomes A Central Figure In The Trailer For The First 28 Years Later

JAKARTA - Columbia Pictures released the first trailer for an anticipated film, 28 Years Later. Danny Boyle and Alex Garland returned to the director's bench, directing the film after 17 years.

The two of them also worked on the story after becoming producers for the sequel, 28 Weeks Later, directed by Juan Carlos Fersnadillo in 2007.

28 Years Later stars a number of new players such as Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Jodie Comer, and Ralph Fiennes who fight zombies throughout their journey. Apart from the two, this film also stars Erin Kellyman and Jack O'Connell.

This two-minute trailer shows characters struggling with the ongoing zombie outbreak. From day to week, to years later they are looking for ways to deal with zombies.

Aaron Taylor-Johnson became a central character in a conflict set in quarantine. A rescue group on the small island connected to the center until they decided to leave the center.

Cillian Murphy, who reportedly returned to play his character, was not seen throughout the trailer. Murphy himself also produced this film, until the public found one of the zombies that looked similar to the actor. Quoting Variety, the production house was reluctant to respond to this news.

This suspicious-looking trailer is accompanied by actor Taylor Holmes reading a poem entitled Boots by Rudyard Kipling.

28 Years Later is the first film from the sequel trilogy planned by Boyle and Garland. The production process has been carried out with the next film directed by Nia DaCosta.

The film was recorded using the iPhone 15 Pro Max to take various scenes.

Film 28 Years Later akan tayang di bioskop pada 20 Juni 2025.
