"Worship is actually like tarawih, read the Qur'an it's the actual sunnah. But if for example we avoid danger it's mandatory. Which means keeping us safe is mandatory. So when fasting and tarawih, still take into account health protocols," he said.
The general public is also asked to avoid breaking the fast with a buffet model. It is recommended that during iftar, food is wrapped and eaten at home only.
"For example open together if it can be avoided with a buffet model. So, it can just be wrapped. Because we in the mosque do not know if they are healthy all, gratitude if we can break the fast at home alone is better," he said.
Furthermore, MUI Bali also prohibits the existence of roving takbir. That's because previously there had been takbir around using trucks and doing various things that were not feasible.
