Pertamina Take Over Three Gas Stations Of Naughty Partners Who Commit Cheating In Yogyakarta

JAKARTA - PT Pertamina (Persero) took over three Pertamina partner Public Fuel Filling Stations (SPBU) in the Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY).

The takeover was because partners were proven to have cheated in refueling (BBM) to customers.

Details of three naughty gas stations taken over by Pertamina are 44,552,10 Janti gas stations, 44,552,09 Kentungan-Sleman gas stations, and 44,552,15 Tugu-Jogjakarta gas stations.

Pertamina President Director Simon Aloysius Mantiri admitted that he had sealed several gas stations in DIY.

The decision was made to prevent filling fuel that was not in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).

"Thus the operation is taken over by Pertamina, and we return the procedure to comply with the applicable SOP," he said at a press conference at the BUMN Ministry Office, Jakarta, Monday, December 9.

Simon said the partner gas station fraud was proven based on the results of an internal inspection conducted by Pertamina.

Furthermore, Simon said that during the inspection, Pertamina's internal team found that the installation of sockets and chargers connected to fuel dispensers, so that the turnover of fuel entering the vehicle was much slower than standard.

"So after we got information from our team on the ground, among others, in the form of a pocket near the power station, as well as a kind of charger but it is connected to a tool that can slow down the charging spin even though the digital is increasing," he explained.

He said his party did not hesitate to revoke the partnership with managers who were proven to have committed fraud, even though the amount of fuel was reduced slightly.

"Although after that measurement there is a reduction of about 300 ml per 20 liters of filling, no matter how small, it is the people's right to be reduced," he said.

Simon also warned Pertamina's partners not to cheat. He said it was possible that these partner managers could be brought to justice.

"Of course, if it is not appropriate and violates the agreement that we made at the beginning, we will immediately revoke it. Yes, of course, through legal procedures, Pertamina will push according to the next steps," he explained.
