Three Boys In Serang Were Dragged By River Currents When They Came Home From School
SERANG - Three elementary school (SD) boys were swept away by the river current in Baros District, Serang Regency, Banten, when they came home from school.
The operator of the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of Serang Regency, Jhony E Wangga, said the victims were three elementary school students from Baros District, namely M Rival (11), Mahesa (11), and Eka Julianti (8).
The incident was estimated at 10.30 WIB when the victim crossed the bridge. It is suspected that they slipped and fell and were then swept away by the current.
"The three victims just returned home from school through a bridge that was submerged in water behind SMPN 1 Baros," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, December 9.
