Evidence Of Missing Tax Case, Firli Bahuri: The Rintangi Investigation We Handle

JAKARTA - Chairman of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Firli Bahuri reminded that anyone who obstructs, obstructs, and thwarts the investigation of corruption cases will be acted upon.

This was conveyed by Firli in response to the loss of evidence related to the alleged corruption case of the Directorate General of Taxation at the Office of PT Jhonlin Baratama.

"Those who do hinder, obstruct, thwart investigations, investigations, prosecutions of corruption crimes we must handle," Firli told reporters at the Merah Putih KPK building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Tuesday, April 13.

While related to this alleged corruption case, KPK is still collecting information and looking for evidence, through the testimony of witnesses. So, in the future, this will be brighter.

"KPK continues to search for evidence. KPK continues to work to gather witness statements so that with the evidence will appear the light of a criminal case and we find the suspect," he said.

Previously reported, KPK suspects there are documents that were rushed by truck. The reason, KPK did not find evidence when conducting a search related to alleged corruption in the Directorate General of Taxation, one of them in the office of PT Jhonlin Baratama.

"Based on the information we received, it is true, the KPK investigation team has obtained information from the public on the existence of truck cars," kpk spokesman Ali Fikri said in a written statement, Monday, April 12.

The truck was found in Hampang Subdistrict, Kota Baru Regency, South Kalimantan. "It is suspected (the truck, red) kept various documents related to the case that is being investigated," he said.

KPK, he continued, is currently conducting a search. Because, the truck in question has now moved location.

Ali hopes, after this information is submitted, the public can report if they find the whereabouts of the truck. He said anyone who knows can report it to KPK via 198 call center or by email informasi@kpk.go.id.
