League 1 2024/2025 Results: PSBS Biak Secures 3 Points At Home To Barito Putera

JAKARTA - PSBS Biak managed to secure three points when visiting Barito Putera headquarters in the continuation of the 13th week of Liga 1 2024/2025. The result was secured by PSBS Biak after a landslide victory with a score of 3-0 over the host.

Appearing as a guest team at Sultan Agung Stadium, Bantul on Sunday, December 8 afternoon WIB, PSBS Biak did not shyly show his determination since the first minute of the match. Barito Putera as the host did not let the visitors move easily.

Since the early minutes of the match, both Barito Putera and PSBS Biak have displayed a fierce game. Both of them tried to open up the lead first, but until the end of the first half the 0-0 score lasted for both teams.

Furthermore, in the second half, substitution was the main key for PSBS Biak to be able to break the deadlock first. Jeam Kelly Sroyer, who entered after the second half, was successful as a differentiator for PSBS Biak.

Sroyer managed to pass Pablo Abel Arganaraz's pass to open up the 1-0 lead for PSBS Biak in the 52nd minute.

After missing first, Barito Putera immediately intensified an attack to avenge the equalizer. But instead of fighting, they conceded again.

PSBS Biak was able to double the advantage through the execution of Arganaraz. After successfully completing M Salman Alfarid's pass, Arganaraz put PSBS Biak 2-0 up at three minutes before normal time ended.

PSBS Biak Numfor completed his win with an additional goal in injury time. Williams Lugo teamed up with Todd Ferre to score PSBS Biak's third goal to increase the score 3-0, which marked the final position of the game.

Thanks to these three additional points, PSBS Biak has the right to move up to eighth in the Liga 1 standings. PSBS Biak collected 21 points from 13 matches, while Barito Putera did not budge in 14th place with 10 points.
