3 People Died Trapped In Wells In Central Lombok Successfully Evacuated By Officers
CENTRAL LOMBOK - Fire and Rescue Service (Damkartan) officers of Central Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Province together with the joint SAR Team officers evacuated three residents who died in wells in Pegandang Village, Praya Tengah District.
"The three victims were evacuated dead in a well," said Central Lombok Damkartan Head Suchardan in Central Lombok, as reported by Antara, Sunday, December 8.
The initial report was received from call center 112. Joint officers with the SAR Team immediately went to the crime scene (TKP) and it was found that three people were trapped in the well.
"There were three victims in the well," he said.
According to information from the public, they were trapped in the well after digging the well and were about to go home, Sunday afternoon.
However, one of the victims intended to take the crowbar that was left inside which was used to dig the well.
"After that, the victim suddenly asked his colleague for help," he said.
Then one of his friends came down to help, but the friend who helped also asked for help and the other at the top finally asked the residents for help and he got off but he couldn't even go up.
"No one dared to come down again to help the victims," he said.
After the joint SAR team came down using equipment and the victims were successfully evacuated dead and had been handed over to the family for burial.
