Dpr Warns There Are Sanctions For Employers If THR Is Not Given H-7 Eid

JAKARTA - Vice Chairman of the House of Representatives Azis Syamsuddin reminded all companies to provide employee holiday allowances maximum 7 days before Eid al-Fitr.

This follows the Circular Letter of The Minister of Religious Affairs Number M/6/HK.04/IV/2021 concerning the Implementation of Religious Holiday Allowance in 2021.

"The SE has been issued. This is also a warning for entrepreneurs, must pay the full THR which becomes an obligation 7 days before Eid," Azis told reporters, Tuesday, April 13.

The head of the House of Representatives in the field of Korpolkam also encouraged the Local Government (Pemda) to form an implementation command post as well as a service task force related to THR to anticipate the onset of worker complaints.

"The House of Representatives requested that this SE should be addressed by governors throughout Indonesia to make a complaint post," he said.

Azis who is also a golkar politician is hoping, the Ministry of Manpower also opened a call center as an effort to implement the provisions of legislation, namely Government Regulation No. 36 of 2021 on Wages and Menaker Regulation No. 6 of 2016 on Religious Holiday Allowance for Workers / Workers in the Company.

For violating companies, said Azis, the Ministry of Finance should provide sanctions.

"No more companies that do not pay THR. Apply fines and sanctions for those who are late or do not even pay THR in accordance with the specified time," said Azis.
