However, the Gunners lost on goal difference so they are in third position. Meanwhile, Chelsea is in second place. They are also seven points behind Liverpool.

"An impressive victory. We are facing Manchester United with a new manager. We know this will be a tough test. Moreover, they have shown good performances during the previous few matches," said Rice as quoted by Mirror.

"You also have to believe in the process that you are going through. We continue to do it all the time," he said again.

Rice, furthermore, said that the victory made the players more confident. Moreover, Liverpool could possibly lose points again because they are playing against their city rivals, Everton, in the Merseyside Derby, Saturday, December 7, 2024 evening WIB. A prestigious duel and full of emotional outbursts between two teams from the city of Liverpool.

Arsenal itself is also playing a derby. Yes, they are visiting Fulham's headquarters in the London Derby. However, Fulham cannot be underestimated. In the last match, The Cottagers beat Brighton and Hove Albion.

"Many people get carried away when they talk about the league title. But you will only find out in February," said Rice.

"What is clear is that the points gap is now getting closer [after Liverpool lost points]. They are still seven points ahead, but we remain confident and we will see what happens," he said.
