2025 Club World Cup Draw Results
JAKARTA - The 2025 Club World Cup draw has been completed in Miami, United States, on Thursday, December 5, 2024, local time.
A total of 32 clubs that passed were allocated to four pots each containing eight teams.
The 2025 Club World Cup was expanded regarding the mapping. This means that there will be eight groups each containing four teams.
They will start the tournament on Sunday, June 15, 2025, which is scheduled to take place in the United States as the host.
The opening match will feature Lionel Messi's team Inter Miami, who will play Egypt's champion, Al Expert at Hard Rock Stadium.
Inter Miamo is automatically added to Group A and Seattle Sounders FC enter Group B because it comes from the host country.
Then, the final is planned to be held at the MetLife Stadium, New York New Jersey, on Sunday, July 13, 2025.

The tournament featuring top teams from around the world will be held in 12 stadiums across the United States (US) and become a clean rehearsal for the 2026 World Cup jointly organized by the US, Mexico, and Canada.
Among the big clubs, there are Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain, Chelsea, Borussia Dortmund, and Inter Milan. There are also four teams with the highest rankings from South America, namely Flamengo, Palmeiras, River Plate, and Fluminense.
"It's about inclusivity, it's about uniting clubs from around the world, 32 best clubs and best players from around the world," said FIFA President Gianni Infantino, at the draw.
Manchester City won the last Club World Cup in 2023 in an old format.
Then, Real Madrid became the most successful club with five Club World Cup trophies. Barcelona is in second place with three trophies.
Meanwhile, Inter Miami is the last second team to add to the tournament after winning Supporters' Shield for finishing at the top of the MLS (Major League Soccer) standings in the regular season.
"We've always wanted to play against the best teams in the world. This is an opportunity to show the development of our league for almost 30 years."
"Now, being able to play against the best in the world in our country, is very exciting," said MLS Commissioner Don Garber.
The Club World Cup uses a new format that adopts the traditional format of 32 teams at the World Cup from 1998 to 2022.
The eight groups consisting of four teams each played in a full competition system. The top two teams from each group advanced to the knockout round of 16 teams.
Europe got 12 places and South America six places. While Africa, Asia, and North America all got four places.
Inter Miami is basically in fifth place from North America, but they are hosts. Then, Oceania got one place.
The 2025 Club World Cup draw was held by World Cup winners and former Juventus great player and the Italian national team, Alessandro Del Piero.
