KPK Is Looking For Other Parties Who Participate In 'Playing' When ASDP Acquires The Nusantara Bridge

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is looking for other parties suspected of being responsible for the acquisition of PT Jembatan Nusantara by PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero). This step was taken by examining Alwi Yusuf as the Head of the Nusantara Bridge Acquisition Team as a witness.

KPK spokesman Tessa Mahardhika said AY was questioned at the KPK's Red and White Building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta. Investigators asked for an explanation regarding the acquisition process of PT Jembatan Nusantara, which ultimately caused state losses.

"Investigators are exploring and thoroughly reconfirming the acquisition process of PT JN to see the possibility of other parties who must also be held accountable for their criminal charges," Tessa told reporters in a written statement quoted on Friday, December 6.

The search for other parties to be held accountable has also been carried out through two witnesses, namely Hendra Setiawan as Vice President of Information Technology of PT ASDP and Evi Dwijayanti who is Vice President of PT ASDP. They were worked on by investigators on Monday, October 28.

Previously reported, the KPK is currently investigating cases of corruption in business cooperation (KSU) and the acquisition of PT Jembatan Nusantara by PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero). It is suspected that there has been a state loss which allegedly reached Rp1.27 trillion and is still changing because the calculation continues.

A VOI source said this loss arose because the acquisition process for PT Jembatan Nusantara did not comply with the regulations. Reporting from a number of reports, PT ASDP purchased PT Jembatan Nusantara in February 2022 with a value of IDR 1.3 trillion.

This state-owned company then controlled 100 percent of PT Jembatan Nusantara shares with 53 ships under management. "The process (in carrying out business cooperation and acquisition, ed) has no legal basis," he said.

"So all acquisition rules are violated," is still quoted from the same source.

In this case, the anti-corruption commission has confiscated 15 land and building assets from the owner of PT Jembatan Nusantara, Adjie. The value reaches hundreds of billions of rupiah and is in the Pondok Indah, Menteng, Bogor City, and Surabaya City areas.
