Meiska Introduces The Same Track Song, Film Soundtrack 1 Imam 2 Makmum

JAKARTA - Meiska Adinda is again trusted to fill the soundtrack. This time, he was chosen to sing Original Soundtrack for a romance drama film starring Fedi Nuril and Amanda Manopo with the title 1 Imam 2 Makmum, the production of BASE Entertainment and Cahaya Pictures.

This opportunity was immediately greeted by the soloist who was born in Bali happily. This is his first OST for Indonesian films, because previously he sang the soundtrack for Malaysian dramas.

"When I was told that I was chosen to sing the theme song from the film 1 Imam 2 Makmum, I was certainly happy. Finally, for the first time I filled the original soundtrack for the Indonesian film. Hopefully this collaboration can go well. I can't wait to meet the people from the film and the entire production team," Meiska said in a written broadcast received by VOI, December 6.

The song he sang for this film was entitled 'Sametas' (from 1 Imam 2 Makmum), created by Hendro Djasmoro and Andre Lizt. The lyrics tell about the feelings of someone who knows that his partner has not been able to move on from his old partner who turned out to be dead.

With this fairly heavy theme, Meiska admitted that she had different challenges compared to when singing the previous singles.

In my opinion, singing a soundtrack is a bit different from an ordinary single because this song will be used to introduce scenes in films so that the way to sing must be more about and use the right feeling. Because I've never been in a position like the one in the song, so when singing it feels a bit challenging. In addition, because during the recording process this song underwent a change in the dynamics, I had difficulty adjusting my feelings, but with the help of Om Irvnat as a vocal director, the recording could run smoothly," said Meiska.

The owner's full name Putu Meiska Adinda Putri said that the soundtrack work process was relatively fast. It only takes more than a month since he received the demonstration, recorded, made his visualization, until it airs at the end of November.

For Meiska, it is important to find a suitable vibe when she has to sing the soundtrack and that's what she gets after seeing the film scene.

In the process of getting the right feeling and singing method for this theme song, I was given a cut of the scene that would later be accompanied by my song. I think it's important. We can find the right feeling by reading the script, if we had time, and seeing the film. For myself, if it's a scene that I'm going to be accompanied by filming, it would be better if I could see it so that I feel more.

Meiska wants the song 'Sametas' (from 1 Imam 2 Makmum) to receive a positive response, not only for the audience of the film later, but also for all Indonesian music lovers.

"I hope everyone can listen because this song has a deep meaning and hopefully you can relate to the song. Even though the theme is tough, the message in this song is simple: learning to accept and be sincere. After all, we will never be able to compete with someone who was perfect in our partner's heart.
