PDIP Reveals The Cause Of 27 Cadres Will Be Fired: Two Feet To Restrict Party Orders
The PDI-P (PDIP) will announce the dismissal of 27 party cadres on December 17. PDIP Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto revealed the cause of the cadres being expelled from party membership.
Some of the reasons are that there are cadres who are two feet with other political parties, thus disobeying the party's orders.
"Yes, supporting other candidates. Including then the second leg, not carrying out the party's orders, because the discipline must be enforced," said Hasto at the PDIP DPP Party School, Lenteng Agung, South Jakarta, Wednesday, December 4.
Hasto said that the violations committed by the cadres had been identified by the party since the 2024 presidential election, until some continued to the 2024 Simultaneous Pilkada.
"There is a combination, because there is a series. In the past, during the presidential election, it was still unclear. Now, it is getting more assertive," explained Hasto.
In fact, Hasto said that the Chairman of the PDIP DPP for Honorary Affairs, Komarudin Watubun, had issued a recommendation for imposing sanctions imposed on a number of defecting cadres.
"Mr. Komar on October 11, it has also issued various recommendations related to the presidential election, and then related to the regional elections, it has been proposed in several regions. As in Nias, if I'm not mistaken, there are 3. In East Java, Central Java too," he explained.
On December 17, the announcement of the dismissal will be revealed in a ceremony according to party protocols. This is done so that the disciplinary enforcement process becomes an awareness for all PDIP cadres.
"Because when we enter a political party, we reduce ourselves to a bigger party interest, namely for the people, nation and state," explained Hasto.
However, currently Hasto has not revealed the names of the cadres who are considered to have defected from the party's line of direction which will later be removed from their membership.
What is clear, continued Hasto, is that this action is a form of evaluation of the party led by Megawati Soekarnoputri so that PDIP continues to carry out its ideology ahead of next year's party congress onwards.
"Anyone who violates party discipline will be subject to organizational sanctions, so that in the context of the upcoming 2025 congress, the PDI-P can consolidate ideology and organization so that militant Party cadres, Party cadres who uphold the truth, Party cadres who are never afraid in facing various forms of intimidation," he added.
