I.O.I Plans Reunion To Celebrate 5 Years Of Debut
JAKARTA - K-pop group I.O.I is rumored to be in discussions for a reunion while celebrating their 5th existence since making their debut.
Today, Tuesday, April 13, industry representatives mentioned this news. He said nine I.O.I. members will attend the reunion. However, Kyulkyung and Mina were unable to attend.
Kyulkyung is in China, while Kang Mina is busy filming his latest Korean drama. However, they tried to participate through a video call.
The reunion will take place in a broadcast on the KT Seezn app on May 4.
This reunion plan has been popping up since 2019 until last year. Unfortunately, Mnet's case of vote manipulation had an impact on the plan.
I.O.I was the winning group of Produce 101 competition in 2016. They debuted on May 4, 2016 and disbanded in January 2017.
I.O.I consists of Somi, Kim Sejeong, Choi Yoojung and Kim Doyeon Weki Meki, Chungha, Kim So Hye, Kyulkyung, Jung Chaeyeon DIA, Kang Mina, Lim Nayoung, and Yeonjung WJSN.
