President Prabowo's Agenda In Kupang Today: Attend The 12th Muhammadiyah Tanwir And Milad Sessions

KUPANG President Prabowo Subianto is scheduled to attend a number of important agendas in Kupang City, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT), today, Wednesday, December 4. One of the main events is the opening of the Tanwir Session as well as the celebration of Muhammadiyah's 12th Milad which will take place at Muhammadiyah Kupang University.

President Prabowo arrived at El Tari International Airport, Kupang, on Tuesday (3/12) at 19.00 WITA. His arrival was welcomed by a number of high-ranking officials, including Defense Minister Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin, Minister of Forestry Raja Juli Antoni, TNI Commander General Agus Subiyanto, Acting Governor of NTT Andriko Noto Susanto, Pangdam IX/Udayana Major General Muhammad Zamroni, NTT Police Chief Inspector General Daniel Tahi Monang Silitong, and Deputy Head of the Hajj Organizing Agency, Dahnil Anzar Simanjuntak.

"President Prabowo is scheduled to open the Tanwir Session as well as attend the 12th Anniversary of Muhammadiyah at Muhammadiyah Kupang University," said Deputy for Protocol, Press and Media of the Presidential Secretariat, Yusuf Permana.

The President left for Kupang from Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base, Jakarta, on Tuesday afternoon at around 15.10 WIB. Upon arrival in Kupang, the President was immediately greeted with strict security and a series of official welcomes.

The Muhammadiyah Tanwir session this time is an important moment to strengthen the policy direction of the Muhammadiyah organization as well as celebrate its long journey of 112 years in building the nation. The President's presence in this event marked the government's support for Muhammadiyah's strategic role in education, social and religion.

The event is also expected to be an event to strengthen relations between the central government and the people of NTT, especially in inclusive and sustainable development.
