Cristiano Ronaldo Lost 1 Million Dollars At The MrBeast YouTuber Event

JAKARTA - Cristiano Ronaldo has lost the opportunity to win 1 million US dollars after losing the challenge of shooting the ball from a fan.

The Al Nassr captain participated in a contest organized by the United States YouTuber, MrBeast.

39-year-old Ronaldo is dealing directly with Khalid, a YouTube channel customer for MrBeast.

Introduced as "the greatest phenomenon of football", the Portugal captain stepped onto the pitch wearing an Al Nassr shirt with MrBeast writing on the back.

MrBeast, who last month appeared as a guest on Cristiano Ronaldo's YouTube channel, offered a $1 million reward to anyone who could be the first to successfully hit three targets that had been placed along goal.

"I put my lucky shirt at MrBeast," Ronaldo said with a smile.

The nervous Khalid, who wore the Al Nassr away shirt, said before the contest that he was a CR7 fan.

In addition, Khalid turned out to be confident about his chances of defeating Ronaldo.

"I'm the number one fan (Ronaldo). To be honest, I think the odds are good," Khalid said as quoted by ESPN.

Khalid's confidence was denied by Ronaldo, "I like him who is confident."

Before they started, MrBeast reminded Ronaldo and Khalid that 100 million people were watching.

They took turns. Ronaldo failed in all of his experiments and Khalid managed to carry out two of his four attempts.

There is only one more attempt to win a big prize. The five-time Ballon d'Or winner encouraged Khalid to make a shot.

"I think Ronaldo wants me to lose a million dollars," said MrBeast.

Khalid hit the target for the third time with his fifth shot and celebrated when Ronaldo hugged him.

"I'm very proud of you, my friend," Khalid told Ronaldo.
