Commission III Of The Kaltara DPRD To Review The Compliance Of The Infrastructure Development Budget

TANJUNG SELOR Chairman of Commission III of the North Kalimantan DPRD (Kaltara) Jufri Budiman emphasized that his party would conduct a study on infrastructure development activities in Kaltara.

This is to adjust the budget allocation and the level of community needs which are the priority scales in the 2025 fiscal year.

"Moreover, the budget for 2025 is not expected to increase significantly," said Jufri Budiman, Monday, December 2.

The Gerindra politician said that if an infrastructure development project was found that was not in accordance with the needs of the community. His party will coordinate with the executive through the governor of Kaltara.

"The purpose of coordination is to talk professionally about budget allocation to make it more targeted," he said.

His party also plans to go directly to the field to review the implementation of development that has been and will be carried out by the provincial government. This step is to ensure the quality of development is in accordance with the planning and really meets the needs of the community.

"We want to see firsthand the development conditions in the field, both those that have been completed and those that are still in the work stage. That way, we can provide more concrete input to the executive," he explained.

Commission III of the North Kalimantan DPRD encourages local governments to carry out transparent and responsible budget management.

"We hope that this step can strengthen more mature development planning, as well as improve the quality and efficiency of using the budget for the welfare of the people of Kaltara," he said.
