AC Schnitzer Turns BMW M2 Into A Police Car

JAKARTA - AC Schnitzer, a German Tuner company recently showcased a modified BMW M2 with German police style.

This BMW M2 from AC Schnitzer features a combination of aerodynamic, chassis, and performance improvements with a police style that can attract attention accompanied by flickering siren lights.

The car was presented with the spirit of 'Tune It! Safe!', which is in the form of a national campaign supported by the German Ministry of Digital and Federal Transportation, the German police, and fully funded by sponsors.

The mission carried out is very simple, namely to attract the attention of Tuner fans and show what can be achieved if modifications comply with Germany's strict road approval regulations.

Launching from Carscoops, Monday, December 2, the sports car looks attractive with silver, blue, and yellow patterns decorated with thick 'Polizei' letters and the presence of sirens attached to the roof with additional LED lights.

A number of interesting features were also presented consisting of an aggressive carbon fiber body kit, including a front splitter, a canard, side skirt, a roof spoiler, and a prominent rear wing with agurney cover.

The BMW M2 uses a set of tempa rims from AC Shnitzer measuring 20 inches up front and 21 inches behind with finishing Tech Gold. In order to improve control, there is also an adjustable suspension of AC Schnitzer RS so that it can lower the car to 25-35 mm.

To optimize the need for duty of local police, the car has improved performance. Armed with a 3.0 liter turbocharged 6-cylinder engine, BMW M2 AC Schnitzer has impressive power of up to 553 dk and 650 Nm of torque, an increase of 100 dk and 100 Nm compared to the standard version.

The additional power is assisted by a disposal system with more sporty valve control and a carbon fiber quad exhaust pipe that gives sound and performance of the gahar.

The company also made minimal changes to the interior starting from the aluminum accent on the larger shift bench, pedals, key hangers, and the iDrive BMW controller, as well as the AC Schnitzer bordir on the back of the head.

Since this model is only used as a campaign in Germany, this BMW M2 is not equipped with a police radio device or special equipment for law enforcement in it.
