IU And Byeon Woo Seok Bintangi Drama Romance, Wife Of 21st Century Prince

JAKARTA - IU and Byeon Woo Seok will meet in the latest romance drama, Wife of a 21st Century Prince. Both names were confirmed by Kakao Entertainment on Monday, December 2.

IU will play Sung Hee Joo, the second child of a wealthy family in Korea. He has everything from visual and intelligence to one day his economic status changes.

Byeon Woo Seok will play Lee Ahn, a prince who has the highest status because he was born as the second child of the king. He hid his identity throughout his life until he changed it after meeting Sung Hee Joo.

Wife of a 21st Century Prince tells the story of a life in the constitutional monarchy that highlights Sung Hee Joo and Lee Ahn who are brought together in an incident.

This drama became their second meeting after competing in the drama Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo. The drama, which aired in 2016, was Byeon Woo Seok's acting debut after becoming a model.

Byeon Woo Seok plays Go Hajin's ex-lover, a character played by IU who has an affair with Go Hajin's best friend. Hajin's character witnessed the affair before he was thrown into the Joseon era.

This drama is IU's latest project after When Life Gives You Tangerine which will air in 2025.

Byeon Woo Seok will act after playing Lovely Runner for the last time this year. He also had time to be a cameo in the drama No Gain No Love.

The drama Wife of a 21st Century Prince is scheduled to air in the second half of 2025.
