Base Jam Welcomes Ramadan With Religious Singles, Lyrics From Poems By Rano Karno
JAKARTA - At the age of 27, pop band Base Jam continued the spirit of work by releasing religious-themed singles. Welcoming Ramadan 1442 H in 2021, they presented a song titled Kusambut Ramadhan.
This song was created by Aris (guitar) since 2013 by collaborating with singer and senior artist, Rano Karno as lyricist.
"The music and tone of this song is inspired by the poem bang Rano. Indeed, bang Rano in the middle of his busy life as governor of Banten had the idea to make a Ramadan-themed album," aris said in an official statement received by the editorial desk.
"I call Ramadan, I call your month. By Your permission make all my prayers come true."
"These lyrics sound simple, not poetic, but the meaning is very deep. Hope is pinned in the prayers of every Muslim. We hope this song can be a friend in welcoming and living a blessed month," Sigit the vocalist menimpali.
The music that wraps kusambut Ramadhan song is made easy listening but still gives a shahdu nuance like every time we welcome the holy month of Ramadan.
Meanwhile, according to Sita (bass), this song is an injection of motivation after they went through a severe period of pandemic and are currently entering a period of hopeful adaptation.
"Entering 2021, Base Jam feels motivated to continue to provide positive spirit and spread good energy to everyone," said Sita.
