Indosat Provides Free Telecommunication Services For Victims Of Mount Lewotobi Eruption
JAKARTA - Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison (Indosat or IOH) again provided assistance to communities affected by the eruption of Mount Lewotobi in East Flores Regency, East Nusa Tenggara.
In this continued assistance, Indosat distributed prepaid SIM (Starter Pack) cards aimed at new customers to ensure communication continues during recovery, as well as six HiFi Air FWA devices that help strengthen internet access at disaster sites.
In addition, Indosat provides free internet quotas to stay connected to other important families and services, as well as thousands of health masks for the community around Mount Lewotobi.
As an additional step, Indosat even brought a physical Base Transceiver Station (BTS) to one of the main posts around Waigate to strengthen communication networks in affected areas.
This continued assistance follows the main assistance during the emergency phase on November 8. In the first phase, Indosat distributed hundreds of packages of ready-to-eat food, diapers and baby food, mats, blankets, health masks, and also free communication services.
