The Indonesian Women's National Team Is Expected To Silence Singapore At The New Laos National Stadium
JAKARTA The Indonesian Women's National Team is expected to get through the semifinals and come out as champions at the ASEAN Women's Cup 2024 which is currently taking place in Laos.
Claudia Scheunemann and friends will play a semifinal match against Singapore at the New Laos National Stadium on Monday, December 2. Kick off the match starts at 19.30 WIB.
"Hopefully we win and God willing, this team will become champions," said Secretary General (Sekjen) of the Indonesian Football Association (PSSI) Yunus Nusi followed by the federation website.
Indonesia advanced to the semifinals after becoming runners-up in Group B with four points. That's the result of one win and one draw from two matches.
Garuda Pertiwi's victory was achieved when they met Malaysia through Claudia Scheunemann's single goal. Before that, in the first match Indonesia played 0-0 with Cambodia.
