Legendary Shaguar From Austin Powers Movies Soon To Be Auctioned

JAKARTA - For fans of the classic comedy film "Austin Power", there is now a rare opportunity to have one of the film's icons: "Shaguar".

The iconic 1967 Jaguar E-Type Roadster, which is the main vehicle in Austin Powers' trilogy, will be auctioned off by Mecum Auctions in mid-January 2025.

Launching Road & Track, November 30, this car is not just a film car. This is the 1967 original Jaguar E-Type which debuted in the 1997 film Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery, type E. appeared in all three Austin Powers films. In fact, according to the certificate of authenticity, this is the only E-Type used in the entire production of the film.

This car was once restored by Jaguar Land Rover himself in the mid-2000s, so its condition is very well maintained. In addition, this car also has its own uniqueness with its distinctive livery and history related to iconic scenes in films.

Meanwhile, the specifications of the engine itself using a 6-cylindrical engine are lined up to 4.2L supported by 4-speed manual transmission.

Unfortunately, Mecum Auctions has not provided an estimated price to be able to redeem this car.
