Regarding The Certainty Of H6 Haval Produced By CKD, GWM: We Are Still Studying

JAKARTA - Great Wall Motor (GWM) started its work in the Indonesian market by introducing three models, one of which is Haval Jolion which is produced locally.

This compact SUV model strengthens brand portfolios in the country market and is produced Completely Knocked Down (CKD) at the Wanaherang factory, Inchcape's Bogor.

Meanwhile, Haval Jolion's big brother, Haval H6, is still a Complete Built-Up (CBU) product or imported from Thailand. However, is there the potential that this medium SUV is to be produced in Indonesia?

Sales & Network Director of GWM Indonesia, Lisa Wijaya said that her party is currently conducting a study on the model whether it is possible to produce locally.

"We are studying the H6 model," said Lisa when met by the media in Kebayoran Baru, Jakarta, Friday, November 29.

Although he did not provide confirmation of the time, he ensured that the ranks of GWM products would soon be produced in Indonesia.

"So, the one-on-one model will be produced locally. Hopefully other models can follow Haval Jolion to be assembled locally," added Lisa.

Haval H6 is one of the many GWM products that offers environmentally friendly Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) drivers, in addition to Tank 500, Tank 300, and Haval Jolion.

Talking about its performance, Haval H6 is equipped with a 1.5T HEV engine married to the Dual Hybrid Transmission (DHT) system as well as an electric motor that produces a combined force of 240 dk and a torque of 530 Nm.
