Lemigas Lab Test Results On Pertamax Quality: Meeting Specifications Of The Directorate General Of Oil And Gas

JAKARTA - The Task Force has finished conducting lab tests on Pertamax samples from gas stations in Cibinong and several other areas. The results stated that the quality of Pertamax had met the technical specifications required by the Directorate General of Oil and Gas at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources.

"The results of the lab test from Lemigas stated that the Pertamax on spec product is in accordance with the provisions of the Director General of Oil and Gas. The public does not need to worry about the quality of Pertamax," said Pertamina Patra Niaga's Corporate Secretary, Heppy Wulansari in a statement to the media, Friday, November 29.

As for the vehicles reported to have experienced engine problems, Heppy stated that his party continues to monitor these conditions and is still continuing to study with LAPI ITB.

"We are still conducting studies considering that engine problems only occur in certain brands and types of vehicles as well as in certain locations, so we need to study the details of the cause of the disturbance in the vehicle machines at these locations," said Heppy.

Furthermore, Heppy said that his party would immediately deal with this incident, as soon as they received information from consumers, Pertamina Patra Niaga immediately moved quickly to take samples at gas stations as long as the vehicle was filled and a sample of fuel from vehicles that were reportedly constrained by the engine to be taken to Lemigas and Pertamina Patra Niaga in collaboration with LAPI ITB for vehicle engine testing.

Pertamina will continue to monitor the quality of fuel and be responsible for the products we distribute. We are committed to ensuring the best quality for our consumers and will not hesitate to conduct evaluations if needed," explained Heppy.

Pertamina, said Heppy, also urges consumers to continue to carry out routine vehicle maintenance at official workshops and use quality fuel according to vehicle specifications, so that performance remains optimal.

"For consumers who have more questions or information to contact Pertamina Call Center 135," said Heppy.
