President Prabowo: Corruption Must Stop In Indonesia

JAKARTA - President Prabowo Subianto warned that all forms of corruption must stop happening in Indonesia.

This was conveyed by the President in his remarks at the 2024 National Teacher's Day Peak event in Jakarta, Thursday, November 28.

"I warn that corruption must stop in the Republic of Indonesia," said Prabowo as quoted by ANTARA.

When conveying this, Prabowo's voice suddenly loud with his right hand swinging up and down as an emphasis so that corruption can be stopped immediately.

The Head of State also emphasized that there will be no tolerance for the ranks of government who commit corruption during their leadership.

"The Red and White Cabinet, the government that I lead, will have no tolerance for corruption and theft and misappropriation. Stop! Stop! Stop!" Prabowo exclaimed.

Prabowo Subianto said leaks from corruption, online gambling, smuggling, all kinds of manipulation, fraud, and fraudulent practices had resulted in many of the lost national wealth and the people could not enjoy it.

Prabowo's government is determined to improve this.

"I've seen the numbers, and I've worked hard with the ministers. We have a strategy, and I believe we can improve this," he said.

To the teachers who attended the event, Prabowo said the Government had increased the budget for the welfare of teachers. The government also intends to provide all the best things for the advancement of education in the country.

"Therefore, I ask for the steadfastness of the teachers. I ask for the patience of the teachers. I ask for the trust of the teachers in us," said Prabowo.
