Cool, Persons With Disabilities And Students Get Training In The Field Of Digital Technology
JAKARTA - Disabilities groups and students take part in soft skills and hard skills conducted by the Indonesian Port (Pelindo). This activity was attended by 69 final and disabled students throughout Indonesia.
This activity is part of the TJSL Program Sahabat Inspirational Pelindo which is a strategic effort by the company to support community empowerment, especially people with disabilities and increase self-capacity so that it can be accepted by the industrial world.
"Suppressing technical skills training such as digital technology and data management, as well as strengthening confidence and communication capabilities," said Pelindo HR and General Director Ihsanuddin Usman, Thursday, November 28.
Ihsanuddin Usman explained that this program was designed differently specifically to prepare friends with disabilities to face the needs of the world of work so that it could support sustainable development goals.
"The implementation of the program is carried out through various platforms, including WhatsApp groups, Learning Management System (LMS) and virtual meetings," he said.

Pelindo's inspirational friend program supports the achievement of sustainable development goals (SDGs), especially in 4th points (quality education), 8 points (fit work and economic growth), and 10 points (reduced gaps).
"Through this program, we hope to empower persons with disabilities to increase their competitiveness in the labor market. We also want to make sure they have equal opportunities to contribute to sustainable economic development," he said.
Based on data, it shows that people with disabilities still face major obstacles in entering the world of formal work.
Many of them have limited access to relevant training and equal job opportunities, although their potential is huge.
This activity is the result of Pelindo's collaboration with Indonesian Square. This activity bridges the gap by creating talent for disabilities who are ready to compete in various sectors, including the private industry, BUMN, and other business units.
"This program is not only a form of corporate social responsibility but also part of Pelindo's vision to support inclusive and sustainable economic development," added Ardhy Wahyu Basuki, the group head of the Pelindo secretariat.
Dengan komitmen terhadap pemberdayaan disabilitas, pihaknya berharap dapat mencetak generasi muda yang mampu bersaing di pasar kerja global.
"At the same time making a real contribution to achieving sustainable development goals, to reduce gaps," he said.
