Derek Chisora Vs Otto Wallin Held February 8, 2025

JAKARTA British heavyweight boxer Derek Chisora is scheduled to face Swedish boxer Otto Wallin, on February 8, 2025 at Manchester's Co-op Live, England.

Otto Wallin, 34, took the ring to replace Jarrell Miller. This happened because of a dispute between Miller and his promoter, Dmitry Salita, which prevented him from competing.

Chisora is a veteran who has played 48 games in a professional career. He will be 41 years old six weeks before the fight against Wallin later.

Thus, this may be the last fight of the London boxer. He has also announced a signal to retire after this duel.

"I've had some incredible nights at Manchester. So, I should have had my last dance in the northern (England)," Chisora said.

Chisora, who was born in Zimbabwe made her 2007 debut. She lost 13 professional fights, including three against Tyson Fury.

In addition, he also lost the world title race against Ukrainian champion who is currently retired, Vitali Klitschko, in 2012.

Chisora, 40, defeated compatriot Joe Joyce in a tiring battle in July 2024. It was one of his two consecutive wins since being beaten by Fury in December 2022.

On the other hand, Wallin won the knockout (KO) victory in the first round over Onoriode Ehwareme in the same month. It was his first duel since Anthony Joshua's crushing defeat in December 2023.

"I know I'm walking into a lion's nest, but I'll be ready for that and ready to win," Wallin said.

Wallin won 27 fights and lost two in his career. He even injured Fury with 47 stitches before losing points in 2019.
