Maudy Ayunda And Iwan Fals Collaboration Presents Self Reflection Dialogue At The City Poem Single

JAKARTA - Maudy Ayunda presented the 'Puisi Kota' as the third single to welcome the release of her upcoming new album. This song was presented through a surprising collaboration with Iwan Fals.

This collaboration represents dialogue and perspectives between artists from two different generations who are united by passion and love for music and storytelling.

Maudy, who wrote, said that Iwan Fals was a person who had a big influence on the development of Indonesian music, so that his involvement as a collaborator made this single a special touch.

"With his track record often with big themes such as reflections of life and social comments, Om Iwan's involvement in this song is a special touch and further strengthens the message I want to convey," Maudy Ayunda said in a press release to VOI, Thursday, November 28.

The 'City Piition' is an urban city-themed song that is worked on like a self-reflection dialogue. Maudy wants to invite listeners to dive into the dynamics of life in urban areas, from the boisterous activity to silence that is often missed, as well as find the beauty hidden in it.

This song also reflects the complexity of urban society in finding the meaning of life, finding identity, and giving hope in the midst of social challenges and the hustle and bustle of the modern world.

Maudy said this song was written based on her personal reflection in seeking meaning and clarity in the midst of the hustle and bustle of life.

I always feel that the city is a place where we can get lost and find ourselves. The urban city is full of noise, but in the noise there is a quiet space that allows us to reconnect with ourselves.
