The Latest Range Rover Evoque Arrives At The Indonesian Market, Fill In The Luxury SUV Segment

JAKARTA - PT JLM Auto Indonesia has officially introduced the latest model of the Range Rover Evoque for the Indonesian market as well as strengthening the company's position to compete in the Luxury SUV automotive market.

"Range Rover Evoque represents a distinctive design language with off-road capabilities but without sacrificing daily mobility needs," said PT JLM Auto Indonesia President Director, Gerry Kertowidjojo in his remarks at the launch in Kuningan, Jakarta, Thursday, November 28.

One of the highlights of this model is the introduction of a curved infotainment touch screen measuring 11.4 inches, which has previously been used on the new Range Rover Velar and Land Rover Discovery Sport.

All core functions, including climate control, have been integrated into new screen software. The climate control panel previously located under the dashboard has been replaced with storage space equipped with wireless charging pads.

Features like Apple CarPlay and Android Auto have also become standard, as well as Amazon Alexa voice control. Wi-Fi connectivity with data packages allows new Evoques to use over-the-air updates, thus eliminating the need to bring them to dealers to install new software.

In addition to advanced digital features, the updated Evoque cabin also introduces a new PM2.5 air purification system (as part of the Comfort Pack) and various non-shell coating options, such as Kvadrat runny.

According to the company, thisivistic material weighs 58 percent lighter than the skin but does not sacrifice its strength.

This car offers a 2,000 cc cylinder 4 engine coupled to an automatic nine-speed gyrbox system with an all-wheel drive (AWD), which is capable of pumping up to 200 ps of power and 320 Nm of torque.

Evoque has a number of advanced technologies such as the 3D surround camera with Clearsight Ground View, Approach Unlock & Walk-away Lock System, and the Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) system.
