Superior Quick Count Even Though Not Above 50 Percent, Pramono Anung: There Is A 1 Percent Margin

JAKARTA - The results of the votes acquired by the candidate pair for Governor-Deputy Governor of Jakarta number 3, Pramono Anung-Rano Karno, are superior to other candidate pairs in the 2024 Jakarta Pilkada, based on the results of quick count or quick count of a number of survey institutions.

Despite being superior, Pramono-Rano's vote has not yet reached 50 percent in several quick count results. In response to this, Pramono is optimistic that he and Rano still have the opportunity to win the Jakarta Pilkada in one round with the vote above 50 percent.

This is because there is still a range of margins of errors that can change the votes acquired by around 49 percent in some quick count results.

"The QUick count shows that the margin plus minus is 1 percent," Pramono said at a press conference at the Pramono-Rano winning post, South Jakarta, Wednesday, November 27, 2024.

Pramono said that currently his team is still collecting C1 documents or the official vote count results obtained from witnesses at each polling place (TPS). The plan is that the results of the votes compiled by the 03 timses will be known tonight.

"We have complete data, complete C1 and that is what we will use the reference for existing calculations. Thus, whether this is one round or not, it will be known tonight," explained Pramono.

Rano Karno continued that his party hopes to win the Jakarta Pilkada without the need to go through the second round. The problem is, according to him, Jakarta needs to immediately have the definitive Governors and Deputy Governors to solve various existing problems.

"Because tomorrow's life is much tougher that we will face. We are facing extreme weather."

"Then, we prepare for Ramadan and Eid. It is not easy to prepare all the basic needs of the people of Jakarta," said Rano or who is familiarly called Doel.

"This means, let us accept whatever the results are. If we reach one round, we are grateful. If it has to be two rounds, that's reality. However, we will wait for tonight," he said again.

Monitoring from quick count or quick count of a number of survey institutions at around 17.30 WIB, Pramono-Rano's acquisition was recorded as temporarily superior in the Jakarta gubernatorial election.

Quick count Litbang Kompas noted that Pramono-Rano received 49.47 percent of the votes, Ridwan Kamil-Suswono 40.05 percent of the votes, and Dharma Pongrekun-Kun Wardana 10.49 percent. 98 percent of the votes came in.

The Indonesian Survey Institute (LSI) recorded the results of a quick count where Pramono-Rano got 50.11 percent of the votes, RK-Suswono 39.28 percent of the votes, and Dharma-Kun 10.62 percent of the votes. The total votes came in at 97.60 percent.

Quick count Charta Politica noted that Pramono-Rano received 50.06 percent of the votes, RK-Suswono 39.33 percent of the votes, and Dharma-Kun 10.62 percent of the votes. The total votes came in at 99 percent.

Then, the quick count of Indonesian Political Indicators noted that Pramono-Rano received 49.78 percent of the votes, RK-Suswono 39.61 percent of the votes, and Dharma-Kun 10.61 percent of the votes. The total votes came in at 95.75 percent.
