Honda Officially Launches Two New Electric Motors, The Travel Distance Is More Than 100 Km!
Honda aims to achieve carbon neutrality in all company products and activities by 2050, and achieve carbon neutrality in all motorcycle products by 2040.
To achieve this goal, Honda continues to strive to realize motorcycle electrification as an integral pillar of the company's future environmental strategy, and positioning 2024 as the first year of the brand's full global expansion.
The proof is that Honda has introduced its newest electric motor in Indonesia, namely Icon e: and CUV e:, but the detailed price of both has yet to be revealed. Most recently, this Japanese brand launched its two new electric motors in India.
Based on the company's information, quoted from its official website, Wednesday, November 27, the first model is ACTIVA e: which is developed based on the body and frame of ACTIVA with gasoline engine. In design, it looks modern thanks to the LED-packed lights, as well as a digital indicator screen that provides a futuristic display.

This model is equipped with two Honda Mobile Power Pack e batteries: which can be exchanged. With these two motorcycle batteries, this one can cover a maximum distance of 102 km which is sufficient for daily use. There are also three driving modes (STANDARD, SPORT, and ECON) that can be selected according to various driving situations and customer preferences, and backward modes are also provided for parking convenience.

ACTIVA e: is scheduled to go on sale in three major cities in India, such as Bengaluru, Delhi National Capital Territory, and Mumbai in the spring of 2025. There is no exact price yet, but it is expected to be announced when it goes on sale.
The second model is QC1 which will also launch in the spring of 2025. This one motor is equipped with a fixed battery of 1.5 kWh which uses a battery cell with high energy density and a long life cycle. The battery can be recharged at home using a special charger.
The rear wheel is driven by a compact motor in wheels, with a measured output of 1.2 kW and a maximum output of 1.8 kW. The power control unit efficiently controls the output of the motor to reach a cruising range of 80 km in a single full charge.
