After The Mencoblos, Prabowo Called For A Peaceful Pilkada And Focused On The Interests Of The People

BOGOR President Prabowo Subianto has exercised his voting rights in the 2024 Pilkada at TPS 08, Bojongkoneng, Bogor Regency, Wednesday 27 November. After voting, he expressed his hope that the Pilkada would run peacefully, orderly, and produce leaders who work for the people.

Prabowo's message is expected to serve as a reminder that democracy must be maintained with a spirit of togetherness and responsibility.

"It's all clear. Every election must be won and lost. The winner must be a leader for all, and the loser must continue to work together. The important thing is to serve the people, work for the people," said Prabowo.

Prabowo also appealed to the public to exercise their right to vote wisely, because the results of the Pilkada will determine the direction of development and leadership in the next five years.

"The choice is up to the people, (must) choose the good. (My choice) is secret," he continued casually.

The President expressed his appreciation to the Pilkada organizers, including Bawaslu, who have worked hard to ensure that the election takes place peacefully. He assessed that the electoral system in Indonesia is more mature with existing experience.

"We have a good system and it has been running many times. This election is not the first, so I am sure Bawaslu already knows the procedure. Of course there are still things that need to be improved, and that will be a note in the future," said Prabowo.

Prabowo said he would monitor the results of the quick count through a news release in the middle of other state activity schedules.

The simultaneous regional elections in 2024 are an important momentum for the Indonesian people to determine regional leaders who will carry out their duties for the next five years.
