1,258 Salemba Prison Residents Use Their Rights At 3 Special TPS
JAKARTA - A total of 1,258 residents of the Salemba Class 2A Penitentiary (Lapas) seemed enthusiastic about participating in voting activities at a special polling station (TPS) in the prison area.
The number of 1,258 residents referred to is a resident of the Salemba Class 2A prison and employee.
"Today, the total occupants of the Salemba Class 2A Prison are 1715 inmates, but there are 1258 active DPT and DPT-b voters who exercise their right to vote. It is certain that the rest cannot vote because they have ID cards outside Jakarta," said Head of the Salemba Class 2A Correctional Institution (Kalapas) Beni Hidayat told reporters, Wednesday, November 27.
The number of Special TPS at the Salemba Class 2A Prison is 3 special polling stations, namely 905, 906 and 907.
"There are three special polling stations in the Salemba Prison. Today's voting technique is no different from the previous election, which is clear that the number of ballot boxes in the Pilkada is less," he said.
According to Beni, today's Pilkada voting has no obstacles. Since yesterday's logistics preparations, there have been no problems.
"For KPPS officers to Pamsung members from all internal prisons, each TPS 9 people. Until now there have been no problems," he said.
