Nyoblos Banten Pilkada In Ciledug, Andra Soni: This Is History For My Life
JAKARTA - Prospective Governor of Banten number 2 Andra Soni admitted that voting today is history for himself and his family because he is included in the candidates chosen by the community.
"This is a historic day for me and my family. I am sincere with all of God's plans for me and my family," said Banten gubernatorial candidate Andra Soni in Tangerang, Wednesday after voting.
Andra voted at TPS 29 Pondok Lakah Permai RT 01/16, Paninggilan Village, Ciledug District, Tangerang City. There were also a number of party leaders from Gerindra Banten and Tangerang City.
Monitoring in the field, Andra Soni accompanied by his wife Tinawati and two children, namely Ferdi and Rakhi, walked to TPS 29 from their winning post which was only 100 meters away.
Andra, who wore a white shirt and his wife wore a red robe, said she was optimistic about the results achieved in the 2024 Banten Pilkada.
In the 2024 Banten Pilkada, there are two pairs of candidates who will compete, namely number one Airin Rachmi Diany-Ade Sumardi and pair number two Andra Soni-Dimyati Natakusumah.
The General Election Commission (KPU) of Banten Province has set a permanent voter list (DPT) for regional head elections (pilkada) in this province as many as 8,926,662 people.
As for the details, 4,495,022 men and 4,431,640 women spread across eight regencies/cities, 155 sub-districts, and 1552 sub-districts/villages, as well as 17,231 polling stations (TPS).
The Banten Police have alerted 27,308 joint personnel to secure the 2024 simultaneous Regional Head Election (Pilkada) in the local area.

Banten Police Chief Inspector General Suyudi Ario Seto said the personnel consisted of 4,344 police personnel, 1,530 TNI personnel and 21,434 Linmas personnel, as well as 120 Power On Hand Banten Police Chief Brimob and Samapta personnel on standby at the Banten Police Headquarters.
For Tangerang, Tangerang Metro Police Chief Kombes Pol. Zain Dwi Nugroho said as many as 9,164 joint personnel were deployed to secure 3,552 polling stations (TPS) in Tangerang City/Regency.
Tangerang City Metro Police Chief, Kombes Pol. Zain Dwi Nugroho said the personnel deployed consisted of Polri 1,128, TNI 314, Linmas 7,104, Satpol PP 422 and Health Service 196.
