After Voting, Megawati Asks Pramono-Rano to Monitor Their Polling Station in Kebagusan

JAKARTA - Jakarta Governor-Vice Governor candidate pair number 3 Pramono Anung-Rano Karno have finished using their voting rights at their respective polling stations (TPS). Pramono voted at TPS 046 Cipete Selatan, while Rano (Doel) voted at TPS 065 Lebak Bulus.

Afterwards, Doel admitted that he and Pramono were asked by PDIP General Chair Megawati Soekarnoputri to check the situation at the 5th President's TPS located at TPS 024 Kebagusan, South Jakarta.

"Mrs. Mega asked, 'eh, visit my TPS. Yesterday I campaigned. Check it, how come I can't?' I said, 'ready'. The plan is to go to Kebagusan with Mas Pram at 11 o'clock," said Doel after voting in Lebak Bulus, South Jakarta, Wednesday, November 27.

After that, Doel and Pramono will gather at the quick count monitoring post of their winning team in JS Luwansa, Kuningan, South Jakarta.

Doel also hopes that he and his deputy candidate Rano Karno can win the Jakarta gubernatorial election in just one round with more than 50 percent of the vote.

"I am very sure, not arrogant. I hope this is one round. Because I calculated, even if this is one round, it is not for Rano Kano, not for Pramono Anung. But for Jakarta," said Doel.

Separately, Pramomo advised his two rival candidate pairs, Ridwan Kamil-Suswono and Dharma Pongrekun-Kun Wardana to accept whatever the vote results are in the Jakarta gubernatorial election.

"My message is simple. Whatever the results are, we will accept them together. There is no need for anything excessive, because I see that Jakarta is going very well," said Pramono after voting at TPS 046, Cilandak.

After the election competition period, Pramono gave his appreciation to RK-Suswono and Dharma-Kun who both participated in the contest without any polemics that led to polarization.

"This is the first time the Jakarta gubernatorial election has taken place directly, the tension is not too high, it took place happily. This is a good thing, let's maintain it together," said Pramono.

The DKI KPU has determined the permanent voter list (DPT) for the 2024 Pilkada as many as 8,214,007 voters. Of this number, the largest DPT is in East Jakarta as many as 2,374,828, followed by West Jakarta as many as 1,909,774, then South Jakarta (1,748,961), North Jakarta (1,345,815), Central Jakarta (813,721) and the Seribu Islands as many as 20,908 people.
