Pick Up Car Driver Sticker Lalamove Escapes After Hitting Motorcyclist In Lenteng Agung
JAKARTA A number of residents of Jalan Lenteng Agung, Jagakarsa, South Jakarta tried to help the accident victim who killed a toddler as a result of being hit by a Lalamove counter-current pick-up car. Eky, a parking attendant (jukir) at the scene, said that the pick-up car driver fled after the incident.
The accident that occurred on Sunday, November 24, 2024, attracted the attention of local residents. Even other motorists who saw the incident had an argument with the perpetrators who were trying to escape responsibility.

Seeing the victim's tragic condition, there were people around the incident who volunteered to take the victim to the nearest hospital.
And at that time, residents also asked the perpetrator to follow the car that took the victim to the hospital. But soon the pick-up driver fled.
"He went to the hospital. So there I don't know, turn left or right. 'Bang it's the driver running away,' said Eky.
Eky still explained, at that time there were no police officers at the scene.
"No bang. No police. Just citizens," he said.

Previously, it was reported that a pick-up with a Lalamove sticker hit a motorcyclist on Jalan Raya Lengteng Agung, Jagakarsa, South Jakarta (Jaksel), Sunday, November 24, 2024, at 11.49 WIB. As a result, a toddler who was being carried by his parents at that time suffered a head injury and eventually died.
Eky (41), a parking attendant near the scene, said that the cause of the accident was suspected to be because the driver of an opposing expedition (current) and crashed into the victim's passing motorbike.
The victim's parents (husband and wife) drove on a motorbike from Jalan Agung Raya 2 to a back-turn on the Pancasila University Station train line.
Meanwhile, the perpetrator was in an expedition car, against the direction of Jalan Lenteng Agung Timur to make a U-turn towards Lenteng Agung Raya Street.
The motorcyclist who was on the right track saw the expedition car going against the current. Allegedly shocked, the motorcyclist seemed unable to control the speed so that an accident occurred.

The collision was inevitable, the toddler who was brought by his parents on a motorbike was thrown away until his head hit the asphalt.
"The toddler died, a head wound. His blood has come out a lot. Because he was thrown from his parents. It's pretty fast," he said.
Meanwhile, the Head of Traffic for the South Jakarta Metro Police, Kompol Agung, confirmed the incident.
"While there is already an LP (police report). And the team is still moving to carry out an investigation," he concluded.
