PSG In A Difficult Position Against Bayern Munich In The Champions League
JAKARTA - Paris Saint-Germain manager Luis Enrique said on Monday, November 25, 2024, local time that his team had put themselves in a difficult position.
Their campaign in the Champions League was slow. Furthermore, their journey became increasingly difficult because they had to travel to the Allianz Arena to fight Bayern Munich on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, early morning WIB.
PSG is just below the playoff of the Champions League standings or 25th position. This means that their ranking is outside the path of qualifying to the knockout phase.
Les Parisiens have only won once, drew once, and suffered two defeats to four matches that have played.
"It's clear that after four games, including three at the Parc des Princes, with a fair or unfair result, unfair to me, we have to get a good result to qualify."
"We make things difficult for ourselves. Football is like that. You have to score goals."
"We will give everything, we will dare, we will take risks, as we usually do," Luis Enrique told a news conference.

Another trick came when he saw the meeting record. Bayern Munich have won their last three games against PSG in the Champions League.
Bad news, Les Parisiens failed to score in a single match.
Luis Enrique admits that it will be a tough game and his team will have to perform better.
"It is very clear that we are two similar teams. We want to have the ball, we press very high. We have similar statistics."
"We are among the best teams with goal chances, but there will only be one ball. So, one team has to suffer. They or us."
"We may have to go further against Bayern. Run more, level up, especially against Bayern at home," said the former Barcelona coach.
Surprisingly, PSG could not bring a slick performance in Ligue 1 to the Champions League. In fact, Enrique's team are very superior in the domestic league.
They are unbeaten from 12 matches that have been undertaken, 10 wins and two draws, with the highest goal productivity (36 goals).
While in the Champions League, PSG even scored three goals and conceded five goals.
