The Boss Of Insight Investments Management Examined By The KPK Regarding PT Taspen's Fictitious Investment
JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) summoned Thomas Harmanto S. as the Director of Insight Investments Management (IIM) as a witness. He will be questioned regarding the alleged fictitious investment in PT Taspen (Persero).
"The examination was carried out at the KPK's Red and White Building on behalf of THS," said KPK spokesman Tessa Mahardika to reporters in a written statement, Tuesday, November 26.
Tessa has not yet detailed the material for the examination. However, witnesses who are asked for information usually know information related to alleged riots that are being handled.
The anti-corruption commission recently investigated whether or not there was a kick back or thanking former President Director of PT Taspen Antonius Nicholas Stephanus Kosasih who was one of the suspects in this case.
For information, the KPK has named Kosasih and Ekiawan Heri Primaryanto as the President Director of Insight Investments Management as suspects. However, the announcement has not been officially implemented.
"That's what we are looking for (win back, red)," said KPK Investigation Director Asep Guntur Rahayu to reporters quoted on Thursday, November 7.

Asep explained that PT Insight Investments Management is one of the investment manager companies collaborated with PT Taspen to turn pension money to a number of securities. However, the practice is not in accordance with the rules, so it is suspected that corruption occurred.
"One of them is because it turns out that the investment is not profitable, it continues to be a loss there," he said.
Until now, the anti-corruption commission has not specified the amount of state losses due to fictitious investments of Rp1 trillion by PT Taspen. Calculations are still carried out by cooperating with auditors and state financial experts.
