Minister Of Religion Suggests To Saudi Minister Of Haj For The Hadith Museum To Be Built In Istiqlal
Minister of Religion (Menag) Nasaruddin Umar proposed to the Minister of Hajj and Umrah of Saudi Arabia Tawfiq F. Al Rabiah to be able to build the Hadith Museum at the Istiqlal Mosque, as in Medina.
"Menhaj (Tawfiq) asked whether there is a space to build? I said there is and is complete," said Minister of Religion Nasaruddin Umar in his statement reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, November 25.
The Minister of Religion's statement was delivered when the two met in Makkah to discuss all preparations for organizing the Hajj 1446 Hijri/2025 AD.
Minister of Religion Nasaruddin admitted that he had the same view as Minister of Hajj Tawfiq regarding the need for efforts to raise the dignity of Muslims, not only in Indonesia and Saudi Arabia but also in the Islamic world.
"In the near future, God willing, he will approach us, it is possible for us to open the Hadith Museum in Istiqlal," said the Minister of Religion.

Apart from Makkah, the Minister of Religion will also make a working visit to Medina. Minister of Hajj Tawfiq asked Minister of Religion Nasaruddin to visit several important places in the city of the Prophet. Minister of Hajj Tawfiq even immediately contacted a number of related parties in Medina.
The Minister of Religion arrived in Jeddah on November 23, 2024. The Minister of Religion has held a coordination meeting with the Hajj Affairs Office (KUH) to discuss preparations for organizing the 2025 Hajj pilgrimage.
The Minister of Religion also visited the new KUH guesthouse which is currently in the renovation stage. This new Wisma will begin to be occupied at the end of December 2024.
